The 2014/15 campaign finished on a high when Manchester reached the British Challenge Cup final and play-off final, albeit with a depleted team due to a torrid season of injuries.
But following the previous year’s title success, hopes are still high that Tony Hand can build a side capable of bringing silverware back to the North West. And Phoenix bosses have been swamped with applications for season tickets, as fans put their faith in a renewed push for honours.

London 2012 expert helping to bring Ice Hockey back to Manchester City Centre

Red Hockey director Paul Baker will use his experience in organising the London 2012 Olympics to bring senior ice hockey back to Manchester city centre.
The club unveiled plans for a new 3,000-seater ice arena, with Olympic-sized ice pad this week, after seven years at a temporary facility in Altrincham.
It is hoped the venue, which will be located within the city centre area, could become a standard-bearer for similar facilities across the country.

Manchester Phoenix have signed high-scoring forward Robin Kovar, as the club prepares for its future in a new home arena.
The 31-year-old, who was a draft pick for Edmonton Oilers in 2002, collected 76 points in the English Premier League last season.

Manchester Phoenix have unveiled plans for a brand-new 3,000-seater arena, with Olympic-sized ice pad, in the city centre. Directors at the EPL club have produced detailed proposals for the venue, which will boast state-of-the-art energy recovery systems.
The arena will signal the return of senior ice hockey to the centre of Manchester for the first time in over a decade.
