Phoenix owner Neil Morris and coach Tony Hand presided over the introduction of this season’s squad at the Mercure Hotel in the city centre.
The evening started with the introduction of players from the Deeside Dragons Junior Ice Hockey Club.
Then it was on to business as Anna and Jake brought on netminders Stephen Fone and Phil Spanswick followed by defenders Luke Boothroyd, Ben Russell, James Neil, Mark Thomas and Ben Wood.

Nico Aaltonen has spent just one week away from the gym this summer, as he prepares for his English Premier League debut with The Phoenix.
The 27-year-old Finn is Tony Hand’s latest summer capture, with all eyes on a Manchester squad that is set to feature four import forwards.
That line-up - which already includes Robin Kovar and NHL draft pick Stanislav Gron – is widely expected to be one of the most potent in the EPL.

Phoenix Head Coach Tony Hand has been voted Player of the Century at an event to celebrate 100 years of British ice hockey – and he immediately declared: “It’s all about the team”.
The Manchester chief scooped his latest award during Saturday night’s ceremony in Durham, which was attended by players and coaches from across the world.

“Never write this club off” – that’s the message from Phoenix supporters, as the new English Premier League campaign draws near.
Up to 300 fans watched club bosses unveil next season’s shirt design and logo, during a meeting at Manchester’s Mercure Hotel in Piccadilly.
The event also saw Head Coach Tony Hand reveal his latest signing – 5’10” forward, Nico Aaltonen, a 199 game veteran of Finland’s Liiga.

Phoenix owner Neil Morris has called on the club’s “incredible” fans to back Tony’s Hand’s drive for a second EPL title in three years next season.
Over 300 supporters packed out a meeting at the Mercure Hotel in Piccadilly on Friday night, as the Phoenix unveiled their newly designed shirts and logo.
A temporary move out of Manchester will see the club play home games at Deeside Ice Rink for twelve months, while a new arena in the city is built.
