Nathan Rempel will return to the Guildford Flames line up for the upcoming season.  The Canadian forward joined the Surrey side this past year and was one of just two club members to reach the 40 goal plateau.   Despite a head injury that kept him from the line up for nearly a month, Rempel, 33, scored 40 times and had 69 points while helping the team to the Premier Cup win.

Nottingham-born James Neil has inked a contract for a second season with the Manchester Phoenix and summed up his feelings say, “I love it here.”

A product of the Nottingham junior system, James Neil signed for Manchester last season in an effort to gain more ice time and he got it in abundance as Phoenix player coach Tony Hand thrust him into a defensive role in the early part of last season.

Jez Lundin will remain in a Guildford Flames shirt for the upcoming season.  The 22 year old defenceman moved to the Spectrum outfit for 2009-2010 after most of 3 campaigns with the Newcastle Vipers.  The 6’1”, 200lb blue liner iced in all 64 games this past season.  He led his position mates in scoring with a 51 point term made up of 13 goals and 38 assists as part of his role in the Premier Cup winning schedule.  He also led the club with 144 penalty minutes.  During the previous pair of full time seasons with the Vipers, Lundin skated 115 times and registered 19 points along with 165 minutes in penalties.
