GB-Poland games to be shown live on a webcast

Team GB Logo Great Britain’s two international matches with Poland this weekend will be available to watch live on a webcast.

GB and Poland go head-to-head at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham on Friday (7:30pm) and the Skydome in Coventry on Saturday (1pm),

Both sides are preparing for the World Championship this month, with GB hosting Division 1 Group B in Belfast and Poland travelling to Ukraine for Division 1 Group A.

Myers: Training camp is impressive

Team GB Logo Cardiff Devils forward Matthew Myers says the first day of training camp was impressive as Great Britain prepare for two international matches with Poland this weekend.

GB’s 28-man squad met in Coventry on Tuesday evening and had two on-ice sessions yesterday and will be back on the ice this morning.

Both sides play in their respective World Championship tournaments later this month, with GB hosting the Division 1 Group B competition in Belfast.

Clarke: Fan support is massive boost

Team GB Logo Forward David Clarke says a large backing from Great Britain supporters in two matches against Poland this weekend will be a great way to prepare for the World Championship later this month.

GB play Poland at the National Ice Centre on Friday (7:30pm) before the two sides go head-to-head in Coventry’s Skydome on Saturday (1pm).

Cowley excited to renew Poland rivalry

Farman becomes fourth GB Women’s player to reach 50 caps

Team GB Logo Great Britain Women's Georgina Farman became the fourth player to reach 50 caps in last night's match against Korea in the World Championship Division 2 Group A.

The 26-year-old made her debut in the 2008 Division 3 tournament in Hungary and helped GB to promotion at her first World Championship.
