J Davidson sponsored Manchester Phoenix are at home to the Swindon Wildcats on Sunday, face off 1730hrs.

The teams have only met twice so far this season and each have a home win. The Cats are having a much better season than last and have a very potent offence.

After an evenly-matched first period, the Hampshire side scored four times in the second period, sealing the win with a Steve Moria goal in the final period. The Lightning began the game without defenceman Michael Farn through injury, but new signing Tuomas Tikkanen made his debut as a forward for the hosts, only four days after arriving in the UK.

On the road against Telford Tigers, after a 9-1 home win over the same team 24 hours prior, the Guildford Flames ice hockey club suffered a 5-4 Penalty shoot out loss that may feel a bit like a win. Spectrum's team scored 3 unanswered goals inside the final 6 minutes of play while recovering a 4-1 deficit to force tiebreaking measures that helped rescue a league table point.
